Hi! I am Mr E Harrison
University student, lifelong learner, and an emerging educator.

Here’s My Story
I am passionate about entertainment and passing the knowledge I have gleaned throughout my years on to the next generation. I was born on 1st June 1973 in Manjimup, Western Australia. I have been happily married since 9th November 1997, and am the proud father to two daughters, aged 21 and 16. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including watching movies, TV shows, and reading books. I'm also an avid collector with extensive collections of movies, comics, and books. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, bushwalking, and horse riding.
In terms of my career, I have had diverse experiences that I believe have honed my skills and abilities. Currently, I work as a Mail Contract Delivery Driver for Nathalia Post Office whilst maintaining my study at La Trobe University Shepparton campus. In my current work role, I am responsible for delivering mail items to rural customers. Prior to this, I held positions such as Kiosk Customer Care at Franchise Entertainment Group, Business Centre Officer at Staples Bunbury, and Night Manager at Civic Video Bunbury, among many other roles. This has allowed me to develop expertise in customer service, team management, logistics, and sales.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I have actively participated in community activities. From serving as President of Movies at Numurkah Film Society to being involved in the Bunbury Repertory Club and Rotary Club of Derby, I have embraced opportunities to contribute to my community. These experiences have enriched my interpersonal skills and expanded my network.
My educational journey has been a combination of formal studies and practical experiences. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Education at La Trobe University, Shepparton Campus, with a focus on English and Media Studies. This aligns perfectly with my passion for teaching and entertainment. Additionally, I attended Studio House College to further explore the entertainment industry, including acting and production. I believe in making learning enjoyable and engaging for students, fostering their curiosity and creativity.
Having relocated to Victoria from Western Australia over eight years ago, I have embraced the local community through my work and community projects. Alongside my wife, I have raised our two daughters to become responsible and capable young adults.
In addition to my professional and educational pursuits, I have various skills and experiences that contribute to my versatility. From being an experienced internet researcher and PC owner with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite to holding a forklift license and completing White Card training, I am equipped to handle various tasks and adapt to different environments.
In conclusion, my journey is a helpful reminder that the pursuit of one's passions and combining them can create a fulfilling career. With my cheerful and friendly attitude, sense of humour, and dedication to education and entertainment, I am excited to make a positive impact on the lives of students and communities, particularly those in rural areas.
